Environment
Our learning environments are physically safe, cognitively challenging, emotionally nurturing, active, and stimulating that encourage curiosity, active learning, values, problem solving, language development, and a positive self-image. They are welcoming, intimate, and furnished with an abundance of carefully selected developmentally-appropriate materials and equipment.
The preschool classrooms have adjacent balconies/gardens which are extensions of the children’s learning areas and are incorporated into the curriculum. Our outdoor play areas are spacious and furnished with high quality developmentally-appropriate play equipment.
The Yerba Buena Gardens neighborhood is also a place for learning and exploration for us.
